SternVitamin, a global supplier of micronutrient premixes, will showcase inspiring solutions for the global food, beverage and dietary supplement industries at Food Ingredients Europe (FiE), taking place from November 19 to 21 in Frankfurt (booth 3.1C50). Various products enriched with micronutrient premixes will be available for tasting: two meal replacement drinks and a functional snack designed to boost mental energy.

Micronutrients for plant- and dairy-based meal replacement beverages
Meal replacement products provide a balanced blend of all essential macro- and micronutrients, aiming to replace a complete meal. As a convenient and nutritious alternative to traditional meals, they are becoming increasingly popular.

In collaboration with its sister companies Planteneers and Hydrosol, SternVitamin has developed two vanilla-flavored meal replacement drinks. The two products, each with different base formulations, demonstrate the necessity of a targeted adjustment of the vitamin and mineral premix in this category:

A plant-based meal replacement drink, co-developed with Planteneers, offers a balanced nutritional composition and provides 25% of the daily requirement for micronutrients (according to EU reference values) at 460 kcal per serving.

A milk-based meal replacement drink, developed in cooperation with Hydrosol, provides 500 kcal per serving, covering 30% of the micronutrient requirement (EU reference values). FIE trade fair attendees will have the opportunity to taste both products exclusively on-site.

Matcha wafer with SternPowerUp: Snack for mental energy
Another highlight at the booth is the matcha wafer, enriched with the SternPowerUp premix. This functional snack is designed to support mental energy and cognitive function. The combination of pantothenic acid, other B vitamins, zinc and matcha powder promotes mental performance, reduces fatigue and contributes to cognitive health.
