Launch of the APAC-SCA Consumer Report: Prospect of Cultivated Meat & Seafood in Japan
The Asia-Pacific Society for Cellular Agriculture (APAC-SCA) has published a new report:
APAC-SCA Consumer Report: Prospect of Cultivated Meat & Seafood in Japan.
The report is intended to inform both regulators and the cultivated meat and seafood industry on the behavior trends and perception of cultivated products among Japanese consumers.
The report shows that 42% of Japanese consumers are willing to try cultivated meat or seafood products with the condition that it has been proven safe. 4 in 10 of the surveyed population (44%) perceived the presence of Japanese government regulations as the most important attribute in determining the safety of these products.
