Mosa Meat, a pioneer in the production of cultivated beef, has announced that it has attained B Corp™ Certification. This is a significant advancement in the company's efforts to build a more resilient food system and unite partners, investors, and suppliers that employ business as a tool for social good.

To receive B Corp™ Certification businesses are assessed on performance, accountability, and transparency in their social and environmental impact. Mosa Meat's B Corp™ Certification is evidence of their commitment to finding a cleaner, kinder way of making real beef.

Mosa Meat, which was founded in 2016, first attracted international attention in 2013 when its founders, Mark Post and Peter Verstrate, unveiled the world's first cultured beef hamburger grown directly from bovine cells. Since then, the company has worked to make real beef in a way that is good for people, animals, and the environment.
