Precision Insect Farming Powered by Technology, in Concert With Nature

Aspire Food Group are pioneers in precision insect farming at scale, with the mission of realizing the potential of the natural world through the power of technology.

A report by the Food and Agriculture Organization entitled How to Feed The World In 2050 acknowledges that a growing population and rising incomes means that there is an increased demand for healthy, clean proteins for not only the livestock that people eat but also for humans and their pets.

According to the UN’s Food and Agriculture department the consumption of animal proteins will grow by 52% between 2007 and 2030 and this will place massive pressure on the world’s ecosystems and water resources, not to mention the requirement of more water and land, while increasing greenhouse gas emissions. Consumers everywhere are making new connections between raising livestock, the climate crisis, protecting workers, and reducing pandemic risk.

Aspire uses robotics and automated data-collection to farm insects that have a similar protein quality to meat and an environmental footprint closer to plants.
Insects are GRAS and raised according to FDA/CFIA strict standards with low hypoallergenicity for pets and humans with food intolerances.

With its proprietary farming technology Aspire can target specific flavor notes including cocoa and malt powder.
